The Bible says in Matthew 6:33
But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
The enemy knows whenever a man is trapped in his desires he is no longer available to God’s provided homework or task.
The real blessing is followed by completing the Lord’s assignment.
Suppose someone buys a new car, you don’t need it now but the enemy deliberately makes you set your heart on getting the car. If you aren’t enough spiritually mature, you started praying dear lord your bible says “Ask and you Will be given”
Dear lord bless me with this car now;
You can’t get an answer to your prayer; it has been months since you have been praying for a car. Whenever you see anyone’s car, the enemy speaks to you about why God has not given you this car. The more you see a car, the more your heart sets on it, and here, the devil can turn this desire into your weakness.
In this matter, thank God, who has opened my mind to understand the deep revelation.
God is a good father. He wants to give us everything, but first, he wants us to seek him, his only son Jesus Christ. The other things will be added.
Satan tries to make us materialistic and worldly, not spiritual, and all the time asks for worldly things that heathen nations desire.
I remember I desired a gold ring. I kept praying for that, but I couldn’t get it. The enemy puts negative things in my mind. Whenever I see another’s ring, I have a strong craving for it. I figured out the enemy was making me a fool by getting me distracted from Jesus Christ and his work to a silly gold ring. Then I stopped thinking of it and started declaring the word of God “I want Jesus more than anything in this world ”
After some months my friend gifted me the gold ring when I didn’t expect anything.
“God wanted to give you Surprise at his best timing. But it happens when we chase spiritual things when we seek the kingdom of heaven “
