The Importance of Holy Communion ( Secret of Healing)

In chapter 9 of Joshua, when the people of Gibeon came to the Israelites with a cunning strategy saying that they were not their near country servants but a far land people and asking to make a covenant with them, they didn’t do anything with them like they did with Jericho and Ai. Joshua 9:14-15
“So the [Israelite] men partook of their food and did not consult the Lord.
Joshua made peace with them, covenanting with them to let them live, and the assembly’s leaders swore to them.”

2 Samuel 21:1
THERE WAS a three-year famine in the days of David, year after year; and David inquired of the Lord. The Lord replied It is on account of Saul and his bloody house, for he put to death the Gibeonites.

These are the same Gibeonites with whom Joshua and the Israelites made a covenant by partaking in their food.
The period between Joshua and the reign of King David is approximately 300-400 years. Yet, after so many years, the covenant still works. Just by partaking in food, a covenant is made after 300 or 400-year king Saul killed those covenant people and famine came in the land of Israelites.
This passage is so powerful and gives me the revelation of partaking in Jesus Christ’s blood and body. If the covenant with the people of Gibeon could have worked after 400 years, how much more shall the new covenant by partaking in Jesus Christ’s body and blood work for us today?

*Eating is not something ordinary in the bible but a special thing.
Eating a meal triggers the promises of God.
God promised Issac to Abraham, but nothing happened when God and two angels visited Abraham, and he prepared a meal for them; God promised a son, and the same year Issac came.
*Communion is union with the lord
* On Sunday, when we partake in holy communion, it’s not merely symbolic but also for your healing. There are so many recorded testimonies of people who got healed after participating in holy communion.
* Before taking communion, we should discern ourselves and confess our mistakes and sins, as Paul the apostle mentioned in 1 Corinthians 11.
* Whenever we hold communion, we pray like this, dear Jesus Christ. This bread is your body, which is broken for my healing. Today, I believe that by partaking in it, I receive my healing.
*A cancer patient can every day participate in holy communion and receive his healing.

*Jesus said in John 6:57
Just as the living Father sent Me and I live by (through, because of) the Father, even so whoever continues to feed on Me [whoever takes Me for his food and is nourished by Me] shall [in his turn] live through and because of Me.

I encourage you to partake in Communion not just to do it as a Christian ritual but to take with reverence the lord and confess the promises of the Lord Jesus and the bible while holding communion. I believe it would practically happen in your life.
